Hospital Internship Log
A running record of rotations, cases, and what conferences actually taught me: kept in real time, not cleaned up after the fact.
Intern · Englewood Hospital
I'm a senior at Tenafly High School (Class of 2027) and an intern at Englewood Hospital. I'm drawn to health because it's one of the most direct ways to serve other people, combining science, problem-solving, and real human connection. Over the program I've rotated through the operating room, the cath lab, the suture lab, and tech stations, and I started this journal to keep track of what I'm seeing and learning along the way.
Outside the hospital, I've loved math competitions since I was young, and I enjoy volunteering to support disadvantaged groups, from seniors living with Alzheimer's to people in need across Asia. In my free time, I like reading classics. My favorite food at Englewood Hospital is, without question, the ravioli.
